Gbarzon District Association in the Americas (GDAA) is the umbrella organization of all citizens of Gbarzon District in Grand Gedeh County, Repubic of Liberia, residing in the Americas – North America, Canada and South America. The GDAA caters to members, their wives and husbands, and their children as a way of uniting them with a singular purpose, which are peace, unity and development.
The GDAA is a non-profit organization with a 501 C 3 status of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The organization or officials do not participate in political rallies, fund-raisers or campaigns, in adherence to the regulations of IRS regard 501 C 3 organizations.
The GDAA is run on a chapter basis and currently has seven (7) chapters operating in seven of U.S 50 states. The Association do also recognized non-chapter state members within the union. GDAA funded by members’ contributions during annual conventions, fund-raisers, and donations.
